As always, cash is king.

In addition, nearly every agency on the ground is asking for the following:

  1. Childrens’ clothes
  2. Plastic mats, straw mats, blankets, chataais
  3. Kitchen utensils, Match box, basic crockery
  4. Milk & energy-heavy foods for children
  5. Mosquito nets
  6. Water Coolers
  7. Non-WFP foods (but only dry ration—such as tea, sugar etc.)
  8. Tents
  9. General medical items (basic medicines, first aid kits)
